Improving Executive Functions
Helping students understand and develop their Executive Functioning Skills

Are you concerned with your child's ability to attend, prioritize, manage time and/or emotions, study, self monitoring and the ability to be a flexible thinker? This course will help each student identify areas of difficulty and develop a bank of strategies to manage these struggles, in a way that is fun, engaging and impactful.
Mondays 5:00-6:00 pm

Remedial Math Grades 4-6
Group or One to One Tutoring
Students will tackle mathematical concepts that have not yet been mastered, during small group sessions with a certified educator.
The remedial math sessions will develop your child’s confidence by focusing on foundational math skills including number sense. Students will review methods for solving addition, subtraction, multiplication and division questions and strategies to work through word problems. The course content will be focused on the Ontario curriculum and will complement what is being taught in school.

Remedial Writing for Grades 4-6
Group or One to One Tutoring
The Written Expression classes for Grades 4-6 will involve learning basic grammar such as nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns etc. and how to use them to write well developed, descriptive sentences, using correct punctuation. Students will also explore the traits and structure and write a variety of text forms using the full writing and editing process. The program will be catered and developed based on each student's strengths and needs, is centred around the Ontario Writing Curriculum and complements what is being taught in school.

Structured and Intensive Literacy Instruction
Grades 1-8
Group or One to One Tutoring
The Intensive Literacy instruction program for Grades 1-8 will begin with a thorough assessment that will help identify each student's strengths and needs. This program is individualized, targeted, and multi sensory literacy learning that is fun, effective and engaging. We will focus on reading, writing and spelling in an intensive and integrated way. We use research based resources that were specifically developed for students with Dyslexia and Dysgraphia such as Orton Gillingham and UFLI Foundations (University of Florida). With our support, your child will gain the skills and confidence to read and write effectively and at grade level.
