Our Mission
At Summit Ridge Academy, our mission is simple: to help every child feel capable, confident, and to reignite their passion for learning.
We provide on-to-one, personalized tutoring that adapts to each student’s unique needs and learning style - all while staying aligned with the Ontario Curriculum. Our goal is to close gaps, build skills, and nurture confidence, so students can thrive both in and out of the classroom. We believe that with the right support, every child can make meaningful progress and rediscover the joy of leaning.
Our Story
My name is Carrie Smith and I am a special education teacher with over 23 years experience. I am also a mom to children with needs. I understand the difficulties students and their families face when supporting their children through the education system. When there are learning challenges involved, this can be even more stressful.
At Summit Ridge Academy, we support all learners from Kindergarten to Grade 8 and help them reignite their passion for learning while supporting their overall well being and success as a student.
