Hi, I'm Carrie Smith, founder and Educational Director of Summit Ridge Academy.

 

As a special education teacher with over 23 years of experience, and as a mom to children with special needs, I've seen firsthand how challenging school can feel when traditional approaches don't work.

For many families, navigating the education system can be overwhelming, especially when learning differences or developmental challenges are part of the picture. I wanted to create the optimal learning environment and program where students are truly seen, understood, and supported - not just academically, but emotionally,too.

What started as a small tutoring space has grown into a trusted tutoring and educational centre for students from Kindergarten to Grade 8. Every day, our team helps children redefine their growth mindset, develop strong learning habits and experience those "I can do this!" moments that change everything.
